Got Question?
What will the service be like?
The service begins with praise and worship lead by our praise band. We worship to both contemporary and traditional music. Our pastor, Stephanie Whitten, always brings a theologically sound message from the Bible but she makes it interesting and relevant for today’s culture. One thing is for sure… Mt. Moriah Church is “Church Unusual” The service last for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
What should I wear?
Casual clothes are the norm at Moriah. We encourage people to wear whatever feels comfortable and appropriate.
What about my kids?
Our children’s program is a comprehensive program providing a fun, encouraging, relational, and spiritually stimulating atmosphere for your youngsters. We provide programs for children through the fifth grade during our Sunday morning service.
Do you ask for money?

Is Mt. Moriah a “charismatic” church?
We are not a mainline traditional church. We are very excited about our faith which means we have a lot of charisma but we are not charismatic in the traditional sense. Our worship service is structured and yet laid back. It’s very important to us that we follow the leading of the Holy Spirit in all that we do. We are passionate about our worship and believe in the lifting of hands, clapping and rejoicing during praise. We are a group of born-again believers who believe church should be FUN. We believe it’s God’s desire to see His Children rejoicing in His presence. We believe that the Holy Spirit who indwells every born again believer gives gifts to empower for service. Mt. Moriah Church does not embrace hyper-charismatic views and methodology. You will not see people speaking in tongues at our Sunday morning Worship Experiences. Although a prophetic word may be shared and we never want to limit the working of God in our church by quenching the moving of the Holy Spirit. We strive to give the Holy Spirit freedom in our midst while following the scripture as our guide. Come see for yourself! We believe you will be pleased with the balance.
