We all have in our lives that special someone that teaches us, from a very young age, important aspects about life that we keep inside our hearts and minds throughout our existence.
Well, for me, that special person was my grandfather, may God rest his soul.
He introduced me to the written word of God from a very young age.
I was seven years old when I first opened the Holy Book and I’ll never forget that day.
As you already know, the Bible is the written word of God.
He gives life to everyone!
Starting from this powerful and meaningful idea, I have decided to share with you six verses from the Holy Scripture that will totally change the way you see things in life.
Love your neighbor
“11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.” (1 John 4: 11-12)
This verse tells you that your relationship with people determines your relationship with God.
How will you love God that you have not seen, if you do not love the man you see?
He loves people. Start today! Take care of them! Then in the heart, as the Bible says, it will increase love.
Love your enemies
“44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,” (Matthew 5:44)
If we solve some bad things by negativity, then more lights the fire.
The only way to extinguish it is to respond to the bad with good.
And not just on the surface, but honestly, from the heart.
Pray to the Good God for your evildoers, for those who upset you, ask for peace and healing, and you will see amazing changes!
Trust God
6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, “with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4: 6-7)
Trust does not equal worries.
Open your requests, your needs, your desires before God, and faithfully await your answers.
They will come!
Trust in God brings peace to the heart.
Forgive
“25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.” (Mark, 11:25)
You can pray day and night, but if your heart is filled with unforgiveness, then you will not please the Lord.
I repeat:
Your relationship with people determines God‘s attitude towards you!
Don’t give up!
“7Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” (Matthew 7: 7-8)
Do not let go of your dreams, your aspirations.
Do not be ashamed to ask, to fight, to look, to get away.
Such perseverance leads to wonderful results!
The cry of the heart
“2This is what the Lord says, he who made the earth, the Lord who formed it and established it-the Lord is his name: 3 ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’ (Jeremiah, 33: 2-3)
Hopeless or difficult situations – call the Lord.
With all your heart, cry, pray.
You will open doors to what you did not know in advance.
New horizons, solutions, miracles will open up to you.
God promised, and he does not lie.
Give God time, effort, and honor Him.
Love Him and then everything will be added!
I believe that these biblical verses already help you today to understand something very important.
Let the Lord change your life and the love of God to fill your heart!
We all have hard times in life and need all the support we can get.
The Bible is there to help us, every single time, and there are verses that help us regain our strength.
They’ve helped me and will help you too.
Never lose faith. Godspeed.
